Music Pick: Eye Of The Tiger (of course)
(Ryland caught the vision of it all and just couldn't help himself. It didn't seem to matter he was headed the wrong way.)
The final score 8.35 or something close to that.
Kensey could really love running. She looks forward to the Wellsville Mile for months as they train. Then I get reminders 'daily' for weeks. I love how she enjoys the challenge. She must have some of Aunt Laura in her.
It was not her best time and not even as good as last year. But she didn't seem to mind. For now the best friend and the sack lunch are at least half the fun.

That brought a tear to my eye and a flood of memories!!! Thank you so much for documenting the funnest event there is...the Wellsville mile!!! That is when my love of running began! Kensey way to go girl! Running is so good for you, in every way keep it up!
What a flood of memories of now 12 or more "Wellsville Miles" as each of our children and now grandchildren have had that great experience. The year Angie was sure she could win it she was so busy cheering on her friends that her heat was half way around before she realized she had missed it. She ran it anyway. I love that the Wellsville Mile was where Laura caught her passion for running. Kensey could so be a runner. She hardly even seemed winded and such a great attitude. Isn't blogging wonderful!
Ok seeing those pictures made me miss being little. I remember looking forward to the wellsville mile for months, and i HATE running, I guess taht says something. cute litle kens, tell her good jub and that i love her. And by the way your last blogg was so funny, what a sweet way to tell you that they love you, can't wait till jack can be so sweet.
I loved the Wellsville Mile. I would get all nervous for weeks before just in preparing for the big even. I also love the River Hights Mile. I think it is so cute that she is so competitive, How is it that some kids that is all they think about and others could careless? Take care of Dad for us!!!
P.S. I realy miss my Wellsville mountains...they look SOOOOO beautiful thanks for the pictures and be so greatful for them!!!
I LOVE YOU!!!
I want to run the Wellsville mile, sounds a lot more manageable than a marathon.
I remember the Wellsville Mile and I don't know what to say about it, but I don't think we got T-shirts, that might have made it worth all that running.
I'm not a runner.
It's great to see that the tradition is still going strong.
Oh, the memories of the Wellsville mile. I have to admit mine are not so pleasant at Laura's. All I can remember is panting, slobbering, and throwing up!! Gag I HATE running!!!
