A VASE TO REMEMBER

A single tulip, short stemmed, and in a exquisite milk jug vase, full (well almost full) of life giving water. If only the stem........ Dandelions, are of course a mothers favorite flower. But THIS is my favorite vase. I love to imagine the little hands that took such care in preparing this very everyday kind of gift, that to a mom is anything but.

(Never fear it wasn't too long before the lovely bloom found the water.)

:) I love this post. I never thanked you for you comment on my blog a while back - it was just what I needed to hear. You are right - having the spirit makes everything easier.

That is so cute! Sometimes it's just the little things!

It is indeed these tender moments of everyday life that are the spice and sugar that make the vinegar delicious. How sad if you had not preserved this. Now, they will always have a sweet reminder of your love and sensitivity to their love and sensitivity. You are a remarkably tender-hearted mother ever-striving (mostly too self-critical), sensitive, dedicated, passionate mother who puts her family first which has warranted you amazing promises that you only need to REMEMBER to feel peace.
